Marcie Price Jackson is a writer and illustrator from Oklahoma, and she can typically be found doing grown-up things like drinking coffee and wearing pants in public. She enjoys writing contemporary, sci-fi, and mystery stories for young adults, and romantic suspense for adults. She is an award-winning screenwriter, and two of her scripts have been named Best Feature Screenplay at the Austin Revolution Film Festival. She was also selected as one of twelve screenwriters statewide to participate in the deadCENTER Film Festival Screenwriting Intensive.
She is currently seeking representation for her Veronica Mars meets John Hughes inspired young adult mystery complete at 80,000 words.

Marcie graduated with her BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, and is the marketing coordinator for a public library system that serves 400,000 patrons.
